Awards season kicked off with a star-studded night at Cipriani 42nd Street, where the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures celebrated the best-of-the-best in domestic and foreign film.

The evening's host, National Board of Review of Motion Pictures president Annie Schulhof, joined emcee Jesse Martin in welcoming winners and presenters to the dais, including Penelope Cruz, Jennifer Hudson, Clint Eastwood, Mark Wahlberg, Helen Mirren, Jonathan Demme, Irwin Winkler, and Djimon Hounsou.
