Children took the spotlight at the NYU Child Study Center's awards gala, held at Cipriani 42nd Street to raise funds to battle childhood psychiatric disorders.

Chaired by Gary and Lisa Pevaroff-Cohn, the event honored philanthropists Stanley and Fiona Druckenmiller for their deep commitment to the organization.

Kid-friendly guests included founder Dr. Harold Koplewicz, Peter Brant and Stephanie Seymour, Jane and Jimmy Buffett, Ellen Barkin, Erica Jong, Elizabeth Wilson, Mara Gibbs, Alice Michaels, Marcia Mishaan, Thomas and Sandra Birkhold, Bonnie and Steven Kurtz, Daniel and Brooke Neidich, Claude Wasserstein, and Jamie Niven.

These accomplished supporters made fundraising seem like child's play: The evening brought in $6.5 million.
