Ivana Trump, Neil and Leba Sedaka, Marty Richards, Denise and Larry Wohl, Dennis Basso, Jeffrey Steiner, and Michele and Larry Herbert, just to name a few, escaped to the Upper West Side for a Turkish twist at Pasha. Ivana and main squeeze, Rossano Rubicondi, seemed to have been swept away by the colorful, romantic setting—serenaded by Turkish music and scantily clad belly dancers, the two couldn’t get enough of each other. The party was thrown by Ender Mermerci and her three daughters—jewelry designer Tansa, Yosun (a partner in her sister’s jewelry biz), and Derin—to give their friends a rich taste of their homeland. The sumptuous spread included grilled meats, kebab, and an array of traditional desserts, including baklava. Ender, originally from Istanbul, has lived in the States since 1997 but has kept her digs in Turkey. “She’s trying to help establish a friendship between Turkey and the United States,” Tansa says. We wish them luck!
