Michael Feinstein returned to his famed eponymous nightclub at the Regency Hotel to perform a holiday engagement titled Winter Dreams. The master of American popular song paid tribute to legends Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, Tony Martin, and Kay Thompson. Feinstein and an all-star band filled the room with contemporary standards and holiday favorites.
Along for the dream: Woody Allen and Soon-Yi, Helen Gurley Brown and David Brown, and Clive Davis—all of whom later joined Feinstein backstage after knockout renditions like “Jingle Bells,” “White Christmas,” and “Where Can I Go.” |
