Fur designer Adrienne Landau was awarded the Woman of the Year award at the Boys’ Towns of Italy annual luncheon and fashion show at The Pierre. Chairs Gloria Pica and Patricia Sherwood, among others, celebrated her achievements and dedication to the well-being of children as Landau showcased her trademark mixture of colorful exotic furs.
Madonna, Oprah Winfrey, and Barbra Streisand are just a few of her many fashion followers. Landau’s signature chubby made the cover of Vanity Fair recently on supermodel Gisele Bündchen. And her new fake fur collection sold out on her first HSN appearance.
“Fashion runs much deeper than in just a superficial way to enhance your appearance,” she told the audience. “Throw on a bright red fox chubby jacket, and you can improve your attitude and health instantly!” |
