Pierce Brosnan and wife Keely with New Line Cinema’s Bob Shaye

The red carpet outside the Ziegfeld Theatre was packed with celebs for the premiere of After the Sunset. The crime-caper action flick stars Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek as a notorious jewel-thief couple who have “retired” to the Bahamas. The FBI agent who has unsuccessfully pursued them for the past seven years is portrayed by Woody Harrelson, who returns to the big screen after a lengthy hiatus. New Line Cinema and the Avon Foundation teamed up for the gala evening to raise funds for the newly designated President’s Family Justice Center in Brooklyn, which works to combat domestic violence. Hayek is a global spokesperson for Avon, and to coincide with the opening, the company launched two After the Sunset makeup lines.

The packed Caribbean-themed after-party at Jazz at Lincoln Center, hosted by Lockes Diamonds, was in the groove with the authentic, Bahamian, costume-clad band Junkanoo. Harrelson, sporting an in-character FBI baseball cap, inched through the crowd to the bar to toast the premiere with tequila shots. Director Brett Ratner notably spent the evening surrounded by a bevy of beauties.

Making the scene with Sunset stars: Brosnan (with wife Keely Shaye Smith), Carmen Marc Valvo, the sexy and camera-loving Hayek, and Naomie Harris, David Blaine, Greg Bello, Harvey Keitel, Jeremy Piven, Karolina Kurkova, New Line Cinema’s Michael Lynne, Kimora Lee and Russell Simmons, Nikki Haskell, Joseph “Reverend Run” Simmons, and Alan Cumming. After the sunset, the “stars” came out!
