Jesse Jackson, emcee James Earl Jones, Jeff Holder and ageless model Carmen, and a throng of glitzy dancers helped celebrate the opening of the Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre season at New York City Center, and saluted the troupe’s former artistic director Judith Jamison. The packed dinner dance at the Sheraton brought out the likes of Worth Media CEO Randy Jones and Citigroup head Sandy Weill.
