Denise Rich and daughters Daniella Rich Kilstock and Ilona Rich Schachter polished their halos to host the Angel Ball at Cipriani Wall Street, benefi tting Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for cancer research.

A-listers arrived in hordes to honor the late Gabrielle Rich, who died of cancer at 27. Guests included the inseparable and intoxicating it-couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Solange Knowles, Bar Refaeli, Loren Ridinger, Stephen Baldwin, Clive Davis, Nelly and Ashanti, Russell Simmons, and Joan Collins. Also in attendance were gala co-chairs Michèle Rella, Sharon Bush, Bonnie Pfeifer Evans, Lester and Sue Smith, Eva Cavalli, Robin Modell, Catherine Saxton, and Rebecca Sugar.

Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson, and DJ Cassidy brought down the house while guests gyrated on the dance fl oor— including Gerard Butler and the gaggle of gorgeous models he grooved with all night. Entertainment Tonight’s Christina McLarty MC’d the evening, sponsored by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz. Auctioneer Star Jones joked that Denise assigned her the task “because I know all the rich people in the room.” Indeed, Star was able to convince Stewart Rahr to donate $250,000 to the cause. The glam ball raised a staggering $3.7 mil to further research in the fi ght against cancer.
