Imagine an outdoor English garden at twilight, set under lavender-hued, candle-lit tree sculptures and surrounded by hydrangea and primrose flower beds. Such was the scene as the Young Fellows of the Frick Collection celebrated at the Hunt Ball in support of the museum's education program.

Venezuelan-born designer Angel Sanchez sponsored the event, lending his acclaimed eveningwear to a bevy of beauties including Tinsley Mortimer, Elisabeth Saint-Amand, Marianna Sabater, Genevieve Wheeler Brown, and Lydia Fenet.

The glamour set enjoyed champagne, danc-ing, and trays of savory hors d'oeuvres. Staff members donned Carl Myers Riding Apparel-complementing the mansion's stately interiors and adding ambience to the hunt-inspired backdrop. Also contributing to the ambience was an exhibition of paintings by celebrated British artist George Stubbs.

The evening's chic Anglophiles included Adelina Wong Edelson, Byrdie Bell, Dabney Mercer, Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos, Melissa Brown, Gillian Miniter, Kipton Cronkite, Sandra Karabell, and Jared Clark.
