Something special was definitely afoot at Lincoln Center when the A-list gathered for the School of American Ballet's Winter Ball. The perfectly choreographed evening, chaired by Somers Farkas, Coco Kopelman, Joanne de Guardiola, Liz Peek, and Cindy Sites, featured a black-tie dinner dance on the Promenade, with more than 400 of NYC's most glam attendees.

The talented students of the School performed Pièce d'Occasion, choreographed by Melissa Barak. It was a breathtaking preview of the next generation of professional ballet dancers. And an after-party followed, hosted by the Young Patrons committee members Chelsea Clinton, Jill Kargman, and Alexis Tobin, featuring a sumptuous dessert buffet and dancing into the late evening.

Among the guests putting their best foot forward: Amy Fine Collins, Dr. Patrick and Dana Stubgen, Audrey Gruss, Alexandra Lebenthal, Donald and Barbara Tober, Arie and Coco Kopelman, Gigi Mortimer, Jimmy Nederlander Jr. and Margo MacNabb, Susan Fales-Hill, James Lebenthal, Muffie Potter Aston, Nicole Miller, and Peter Martins, who joined in with the students for some serious disco dancing to the tunes of deejay Tom Finn.

The event raised half a million dollars for SAB scholarships, a major step in securing a bright future for tomorrow's shining ballet stars.
