A glitterati-packed crowd gathered at Wölffer Estate Vineyards in Sagaponack for the annual Group for the South Fork Benefit & Auction, with an after-party at hot spot Cain at Cabana. The event raised over $515,000 for the organization, which is committed to the preservation of natural resources in East Hampton, Southampton, and Shelter Island.

Group for the South Fork President Bob DeLuca and Wölffer Estate proprietor Christian Wölffer hosted the evening, wel-coming an endless string of notables which included: Nicole Miller, Cindy Adams, NYS Assemblyman Fred Thiele, U.S. Rep. Tim Bishop, Ann Colley, Robert Zimmerman, Debbie Bancroft, Somers White, Ellin and Ron Delsener, Jonathan Farkas, Douglas Hannant, Frederick Anderson, Mary and Roy Judelson, and newly engaged couple Richard Johnson and Sessa von Richthofen.

The evening began in the cool cocktail tent, which was bathed in the warm glow of several orange-lit bars. Dinner followed in a tent filled with crisp white linens and lanterns, with white daisies and dainty pink peonies perched atop each table. Event chair Dick Cavett helped unload live-auction lots, including a much-coveted weekend stay for four couples at the posh Manor House on Robin’s Island, (snagged by Cynthia and Dan Lufkin for the impressive sum of $50,000). Guests continued to empty their wallets for silent-auction goodies donated by David Yurman, Ralph Lauren, Estée Lauder, Saks Fifth Avenue, and the Hampton Classic, among others.
