Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel has done it again—for the 19th time! In celebration of her latest book release, a second edition of The Landmarks of New York: An Illustrated Record of the City’s Historic Buildings (The Monacelli Press, 2005), the author held a book signing at The Four Seasons hosted by owners Julian Niccolini and Alex von Bidder. Museum heads, architects, city officials, real estates honchos, media bigwigs, and artists all turned out to have their copies personalized by the woman of the hour. The glossy coffee-table book is overflowing with photos and documents of over 1,100 historic buildings around the city.
