A très grande gathering of over 400 guests filled the Norton Museum of Art for Bal des Arts 2006 "An Evening at La Vie En Rose."
The fabulous fete, fashioned to invoke the feel of a 1930s Parisian nightclub, offered a bountiful selection of delectable delicacies, including: citrus-cured salmon rose and endive petals, grilled double lamb chops with Provencal vegetable gratin, and a sinfully decadent chocolate Eiffel tower with assorted French truffles.
An après dinner auction had the creative crowd waving their paddles for an array of tantalizing treats, including: An 18-kt. white-gold watch with pave-diamond case by Graff, a five-course lunch or dinner for 12 prepared by famed chef Daniel Boulud, and a cruise aboard the luxe ocean liner "Silver Wind," to raise roughly $1 mil for the museum's exhibitions and educational programs.
French toasters included: Chairs Sandy Krakoff and Nancy Raquet, Jeffrey and Dawn Prosser, Jeffrey and Frances Fisher, Henri and Marie Barguirdjian, John and Heidi Niblack, Shirley Fiterman, and Frederick and Susie Weingeroff.
As the French say: Une bonne soirée!
