One billion dollars' worth of the finest art and antiques. Twelve hundred guests. Sixty-eight dealers from three different continents. If the numbers don't speak volumes, then the names will. The showing at The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's annual preview party for The International Fine Art and Antique Dealers Show at the Park Avenue Armory was as dazzling as the 110-ct. Burmese sapphire drop necklace, suspended in 75 carats of yellow and white diamonds, which greeted guests at the entrance.

The sparkling soiree, co-sponsored by Graff and Bill Blass, raised over $900,000 for cancer care. Generous gems: Anne Chambers Cox, The Duchess of Devonshire, Calvin Klein, Grace Hightower De Niro, Pepe Fanjul, Wendy Carduner, Veronica Hearst, Barbara de Portago, Mai Harrison, Gigi and Adrienne Vittadini, Audrey and Martin Gruss, Anne Hearst, Wendy Vanderbilt Lehman, Michele Gerber Klein, Chappy Morris and Melissa Stanley, Randy Kemper, Bunny Williams, Jamie Drake, Pat Buckley, James Niven, Jessie Araskog, Charlotte Moss, Joanne de Guardiola, Julia and David Koch, Evelyn Lauder, Karen LeFrak, Daisy Soros, and Blaine Trump.
